The Rev. Ernest Birchfield will conduct the services and burial arrangements will be performed by Robertson and Foglesong of Mullens. Mr. McGraw died in the Mullens General hospital at the about 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. He had been admitted earlier suffering from a paryletic stroke which had occurred to him while visiting a relative at Ada, Mercer county on last Thursday. He was born at Greenup, KY on October 19, 1882 and came to Panther, McDowell county in 1901 to work for the W.M. Ritter Lumber company with which company he worked the greater part of his life. In 1903 he moved to Pierpoint where he lived at the time of his death. Years ago he had lost a leg in an accident while working with a log loader for the Writter company. Mr. McGraw was known for his cheerfulness and friendship for all whom he met. He had a splendid record as janitor for the two schools he served. Surviving are his wife May Barrett McGraw; three sons, Earl, of Nowata, Okla.; Charles, of Maben and Kyle, of Mead; three daughters, Mrs. Ted Lusk, Maben; Mrs. Bud Clay, Glen Fork; and Mrs. Robert Smith, Stacy, Va. Also two brothers, Robert, of Glen Fork and Henry of White Salmon, Wash,; three sisters, Mrs. Smith Coleman, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Mrs. Mary Pickrel, Maben, and Mrs. Genevieve Bailey, White Salmon, Wash.; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
