November 25th. Andrew Overby, carpenter, fell overboard from seventh span bridge, James river, and was drowned. Was standing on abutment at east end bridge keeping drift-wood from accumulating, a heavy log striking against end of his pole threw him into the stream.

The funeral will take place THIS (Tuesday) AFTERNOON at
3 O\'clock P.M., from his father\'s residence--Semmes and Seventh Streets. The friends of the family will attend without further notice.
