OBITUARY

Whitaker Louie D, 41, died Wednesday of cancer at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born May 16, 1948 in Welch, W.Va., the son of George and Gertrude (Charles) Whitaker. He married Janet Wellman February 21, 1970. Vietnam Conflict Army veteran. Surviving are his parents; his wife; 5 sisters, Wanda Shepherd, Joanne Harter, Gloria Weber, Jannette Miles and Jackie Taylor; and 2 brothers, Burley of Clyde, Ohio, and Bernard of Phoenix, Ariz. Services Sunday at Orr Funeral Home. Burial, Oak Park Cemetery.
