    BELLEVILLE, Mich. ? Wanda Claire Bevins Owens, 91, formerly of Lebanon, passed away at her home on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004.

    Born on May 19, 1913, in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Carson and Myrtle Tate Bevins. Wanda retired from Chrysler "Amplex Plant," after 25 years of loyal service. She blessed the lives of many people throughout her lifetime and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will forever live in their hearts. In addition to her parents, her cousin, Carl Tate, also preceded her in death.

    Wanda was like a mother to her special friends and neighbors of 21 years, Garry and Betty Gulliver; and was like a grandmother to Beth and Shannon Gulliver and Brian and Mary Gulliver, all of Belleville. Four cousins also survive her, Betty White of Canton, Mich., Dorothy Tate of Clear, Va., Virginia Colley of Porter, Va., and Ferne Pate of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

    Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at 8 p.m. at Owens Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. Mike Carter officiating. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. at Russell Memorial Cemetery, Lebanon. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m., before the service at the funeral home.

    Owens Funeral Service, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.

    OBITUARY

    Dorothy Tate Clear, 90, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 19, 2011.

    She was a long term supporter of the Methodist Church, having served previously as a Sunday School teacher and as a church organist.

    Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of more than 40 years, James F. Clear Jr.

    She is survived by her daughter, Cheri Mabe; two grandsons, Charles Saddler and PFC David Mabe II; by two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Evan Saddler; and her niece, Rebecca of Hugg, S.C.

    Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Oakey's North Chapel with the Rev. Elmo McLaurin officiating. The interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service.

    Gayle Miller Coleman, 64, of Pikeville, formerly of Evarts, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center.

    Gayle was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Miller and Dana Tate Miller.

    Survivors include two daughters, Carla C. (Warren) Stallard, Sellersburg, IN; Paula C. (Scott) Flispart, Clarksville, IN; and a granddaughter, Paige Flispart, Clarksville, IN.

    Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY with the Rev. Danny McCreary officiating.Online condolences may be left at www.harlanobits.net.

    In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Kosair Children's Hospital 234 East Gray Suite 450 Louisville, KY 40202.
