OBITUARY

BARBARA STERRETT DAVIS (MRS. WALLACE M. DAVIS, JR. of Houston died July 19, 1983. Mrs. Davis was born in Greenville, South Carolina, January 9, 1927. She was a member of St. John The Divine Episcopal Church, attended Mary Baldwin College and DePauw University, and member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, member of The Junior League of Houston, and past member of the Junior League of new Orleans and Dalles.

Survivors, Husband, Wallace M. Davis, Jr., mother, Barbara Sterrett, daughters, and son-in-law, Eleanor Davis and James Davis Reeves, Mary Davis and Steven Charles Sasser, son, John Lawson Davis, all of Houston, niece Randy Vandervoort Goodhue, Beaumont, Texas, grandson, Travis Michael Reeves, Houston.

Friends may call at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Dr. after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday Graveside services 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, Rev. Giles F. Lewis, Jr. officiating. Active and honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Bromley Smith Freeman, Arthur S. Vandervoort, III, William T. Dobbins, Paul E. Cameron, Jr., Fred E. Simmons, Owen Lipscomb, all of Houston. Phelan C.
