OBITUARY
Florida Times-Union; 21 July 2014
GROSE Pierce Reaves Grose passed away peacefully on July 13, 2014. He was born in Eufaula, Alabama on May 12, 1933 to Lee Loren Grose and Kathleen Reaves Grose.
He graduated from Auburn University in 1957 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Over his extended career in textiles with JP Stevens, Burlington Industries and Riegel/Mount Vernon Mills he had many great friends and colleagues.
After retiring to Amelia Island in 2000, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and neighbors who enriched his life. Mr. Grose is preceded in death by his brother, Lee Loren Grose Jr. and his sister, Sarah Grose Copeland. He is survived by his wife, June and four children Carol (Jeffrey), Lee (Mitch), Kathy (Bill) and Philip (Nishi) as well as his brother, John. He also leaves five cherished grand children, Samuel, Sebastian, Alex, Kameron and Ariyana.
