CONSOLATION IN DEATH Miss Tennie Lambert Commits in herself, instead husband failed to appear on this day set for their marriage at Louisa, Ky Feb. 24.

Miss Tennie Lambert, daughter of a Baptist preacher residing miles from this place, commited suicide yesterday. Monday Miss Lambert was to have been married to Thomas Copley. The guests had assembled, and the minister was on hand, but Copley did not come.

The young woman was much agitated and became very despondent, and yesterday, while her parents were away from home, took the fatal dose, Copley's wbereabouts are unknown.
