    OBITUARY

    From Find A Grave

    Rebecca C. Welch, 96, of Cornwall Manor died on Friday, June 13, 2008, in the manor.

    She was born in Philadelphia on July 13, 1911, daughter of the late John C. and Laura E. Hawk Welch. Rebecca was a retired accountant for Westinghouse Corp. with 36 years of service.

    She was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd, Lebanon, Hamilton Chapter No. 116 OES, volunteer chairman of Cornwall Manor Society, gift shop worker at Cornwall Manor, arranged and distributed flowers at the health center for a number of years.

    She is survived by dear friends Doris Parkes of New Holland, Lowell D. Parkes of New Holland and Lynne M. Parkes of Media, Pa. She was preceded in death by niece Margaret Singer and dear friends Elsie Mellon and Dot Smith.

    Memorial service will be held Thursday 11 a.m. at the Levi Zerr Chapel Cornwall Manor, Cornwall, with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Private interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Cornwall Manor Benevolent Care Fund, P.O. Box 125, Cornwall, PA 17016. The Rohland Funeral Home Inc. handled the arrangements.
