OBITUARY

Danvers Herald; 6 April 2006

Marion Louise Bennett Harris, 85, of Jeffersonville, Ind., a native of Danvers, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died April 4, 2006, at the home of her granddaughter, Rebekah and husband, Eric. She was the wife of the late Rev. William S. Harris.

Mrs. Harris leaves behind a legacy of four sons, Bruce (Janice) Harris, William S. Jr. (Elizabeth) Harris, Mark E. Harris, and Kevin L. (Diana) Harris; one daughter, Deborah J. (Bruce) Gatrost; two sisters, Mary Bennett Trenoweth and Virginia Bennett Briggs; one brother, Betram (Kay) Bennett; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was also the mother of two late infant sons; and sister of the late Donald, Rodney and Frank Bennett and Shirley Bennett Kimber.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at Scott Funeral Home?s North Chapel in Indiana. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 1-2 p.m.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
