Stackpole, Thomas J. Age 58, died unexpectedly on October 28, 2010. He was born September 1, 1952, in Brookfield, the son of Charles R. and Jean (Roughen) Stackpole.
Tom attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Grade School, Catholic Memorial High School and the University of Wisconsin - Superior. He formerly had worked for American Family Insurance in Duluth and currently was the owner / operator of Frontier Adjusters of Superior and Duluth.
His love of the outdoors was evident by his home in Superior that was surrounded by 40 acres of woods and his passion for hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents Charles and Jean Stackpole, Tom is survived by brothers John C. (Sandra Hendersen) Stackpole of Richfield, WI and Dr. William Stackpole of Stacey, MN; sisters Mary M. Stackpole of Pittsburgh, PA and Ann (Dr. David) Wren of Raleigh, NC. He is further survived by nieces Mary Elizabeth and Helen, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010, from 10 AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM, at ST. LUKE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH 18000 W. Greenfield Avenue, Brookfield. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Luke's Catholic Church, The American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
