    OBITUARY

    Rosenell Davis "Rosie" Jones
    (May 8, 1917 - October 7, 2012)

    Mrs. Rosenell Davis Jones, fondly known as "Rosie" age 95 of Hurley, MS passed away October 7, 2012 at her home. She was born May 8, 1917 in Nettleboro, AL. Mrs. Jones was a member of Hurley United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and played the piano for many years.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodie E. and Anna Leona Davis; husband, Willie L. "Tebo" Jones; son, Willie Ed Jones; sisters, Clydia Glaskox, Leola Jones, Marion Keith and Olga Rubino; granddaughter, Karen Annette Jones; grandson, Clinton Jones and great grandson, Kevin Emerson.

    Survivors include sons and daughters in law, Royce Lane (Margie) Jones and Steve Lance (Connie) Jones; daughter and son in law, Sybil Karen Jones (Donald) Dowdy all of Hurley, MS. 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Visitation for Mrs. Jones will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Hurley United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from the church with Rev. David Henderson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow at Magnolia Springs Cemetery in Hurley.

    Pallbearers will be her grandsons Clay Jones, Kyle Jones, Lane Miley, Kyles McDuffie, Jake Goff and Daylan Phillips. The family wishes to thank special angels Sallie White, Sadie Rodgers and Debbie Puckett; Margie Carter, RN and staff of Camillia Hospice for the love and care of our mother and grandmother. The family prefers donations in her memory to the Hurley United Methodist Church Building Fund. Arrangements by Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, MS.
