1988 in Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lakie Poston Boardwine. Survivors include three sons, Richard Lee Boardwine, James Cecil Boardwine, both of Saltville and Lloyd Eugene Boardwine of Baltimore.; two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Nita) Woods, Saltville and Mrs.
