OBITUARY
Funeral services for Dennie Niswander, 70, of Rt. 5, Bluefield, who was dead on arrival at a Bluefield hospital Sunday, October 4, 1981, after a short illness, will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Mercer Funeral Home in Bluefield.
Rev. Harry Wright will officiate at the service.
Burial will be in Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Green Valley.
Born March 12 1911 in Coopers, he was a son of the late Thomas A. and Jennie Murrell Niswander.
He was a retired car repairman for the Norfilk & Western Railway. He was a member of the Calvary Memory Christian Church.
Survivors include one step-daughter, Rose Marie Wimmer of Bluefield; three sisters, Mrs. Audrey Shrader of Bleewell, Mrs. Donald Peters of Bluefield and Mrs. C.E. Farris of Muncie, In.; three brothers, Edward Niswander of Bramwell, Walter Niswander of Honoraville, Al. and Woodrow Niswander of Jacksonville, N.C. and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Texie Rosalie ?Jackie' Jack Niswander in 1963and one brother Hughie Niswander in 1961.
Pallbearers: Roger Wimmer, Earl Wimmer, Dallas Wimmer, Jim Wimmer, Earl Landers, and Roger Prevento. Friends my call at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m.

Audrey Niswander Shrader, 74, of Bluewell, died Wednesday August 18, 1987 in a Bluefield hospital.
Born October 8, 1912 in Coopers, she was a daughter of Thomas A. and Jennie E. Murrell Niswander.
She had been employeed at Margaret's Boutique in Bluewell for several years and was preceded by her husband, Edward Shrader, and two brothers, Hughie and Dennie Niswander.
Survivors: brothers, Edward ?Budgie' Niswander of Bramwell, Woodrow Niswander of Jacksonville, N.C., Walter ?Babe' NIswander of Honoraville, Al.; sisters, Virginia Peters of Bluefield, Helen Farris of Muncie, In; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mercer Funeral Home Chapel of Bluefield with the Rev. R.W. Skidmore officiating and burial at Woodlawn Memorail Park in Bluewell.

OBITUARY
Virginia Mamie Niswander Peters, 82 of 501 Frederick Street, Bluefield, went to be with her Lord Sunday morning, September 15, 1996 at a Princeton hospital.
Born June 28, 1914 in Coopers, she was a daughter of the late Thomas A. and Jennie Murrell Niswander.
She was a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was retired from GTE. She was a member of the Edgemont Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ann Vencill Circle and very active in the Bus Ministry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edward Peters, a sister, Audrey Shrader, and three brothers, Denny Niswander, Hughie Niswander and Edward ?Budgie' Niswander.
Survivors: two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Paul Treolo of Williamsburg, Va. and Donita and Rodney Goins of Proctorvile, Oh.; a sister, Mrs. Steve ?Helen' Farris of Muncie, In; brothers, Woodrow Niswander of Jacksonville, N.C. and Walter ?Babe' Niswander of Honoraville, Al; a sister-in-law, Athaline NIswander of Bramwell; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, a supportive church and many dedicated friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 17, 1996, at 11 a.m. from the Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Bluewell. Friends may call today at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.

Edward L. Budgie Niswander, 72, of Box 215, Bramwell, died Sunday, December 5, 1988 in Salem, Virginia.
Born March 22, 1916 in Coopers, he was a son of the late Thomas A. and Jennie Murrell Niswander.
He was a lifelong resident of Bramwell and a member of Elizabeth Bowen Jones Memorial Methodist Church, where he served as chairman of the Board of Trustees. He was a member of Royal Order of Jesters, Bramwell Lodge No. 45, Bluefield Shrine Patrol, Bluefield Commandery No 19 K. T. and Beni Kedem Temple in Charleston. He was a member of Bluefield Shrine Club, Bluefield Chapeter No. 20 R.A.M. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. Disabled American Veterans.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sherrie Ann Niswander, one sister Audrey Shrader and two brothers, Denny Niswander and Hughie Niswander.
Survivors: wife Athaline Miller Niswander; sisters Mrs. Helen Farris of Muncie, In., and Mrs. Virginia Peters of Bluefield; brothers, Walter ?Babe' Niswander of Honoraville, Al and Woodrow Niswander of Jacksonville, N.C.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mercer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Conrad officiating and burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Bramwell Masonic Lodge No. 45 will conduct graveside rites.
