OBITUARY
Mrs. S. A. Spradley Called by Death
Mrs. Katherine Spradley, wife of S. A. Spradley died at her home near Youngblood, Alabama, this morning after a short illness. She was born June 5, 1852 and has lived a long and useful life.She was a faithful member of the Antioch church.
She is survived by, S. A. Spradley and five children; Mrs. J. J.Rushing, Kirby Spradley, Mrs. Gus Porath of Troy, Mrs. J. D.Youngblood, of Youngblood and Mrs. John W. Coll, of Baton Rouge,LA and many other relatives who mourn her death.
The funeral will be held at Antioch church Sunday morning at nine o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. W. T. Grider, of Troy.cInterment will take place at Antioch with Carrol in charge.

Mrs. Ella M. Rushing, 89, died Monday at her residence, 1925West St., Montgomery. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m.Tuesday from the McGehee Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W. H.Swearingen officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery in Troy, McGehee Funeral Home of Troy directing. Surviving are two daughter's, Mrs. Kate Sells and Mrs. Foye Black, both of Montgomery; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Lee Porath, Montgomery and Mrs. Carrie M. Coll, Baton Rouge, LA; nine grandchildren and 19great great grandchildren.

Porath-Spradley Marriage
At the residence of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Berry, in the presence of a few intimate friends, Mr. Gustave F. Parath and Miss Ada Lee Spradley were quietly married on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Elder Charles I. Talley performing the ceremony. There were no attendants, the bride, gowned in white lace, entering with the groom.
Mr. and Mrs. Porath left during the afternoon for Troy, to visit friends, after which they will return to Montgomery to make their home.
