    She was the daughter of William Wesley Key, who went by the name "Wesley" and who appears as "insane" in the Daniel Bryant household on the 1850 Census for Jasper County, MO.

    Lucy married Daniel E. BRYANT 17 Nov 1829, Franklin Co. VA. Daniel (son of John BRYANT and Mary Owsley) was born 30 Jun 1809, Virginia. [Group Sheet]

    Notes:

    She lived to be 98 years of age and her biography appears in some length in the Jasper County, Missouri newspaper in some length. When she was 5 years of age, the Bryants left
    VA and relocated to Franklin County, Indiana, south of the town of Richmond, IN. they lived there for five years and in 1843, relocated to Jasper County, MO. She married Lazarus Spence on Christmas Eve in 1848. They never had any children, but they did take in orphaned children from time to time.
