Clovis M. Morrow, age 97, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014. She was born May 1, 1917, in Whitesburg, Georgia, the daughter of the late Edgar Young and the late Alva Maude Duke Young.

She was retired from Marion Hosiery Mills, and was a longtime member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she worked for many years in the nursery with the two and three year olds. She was also a member of the Sharing Faith Believers Sunday School Class.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Morrow; daughter, Shelby Fowler, grandson, Tim Fowler; brothers, Buford Young and Dallas Young; and sister, Sarah Burnham.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Pennie & Brad Crane of Dallas, Georgia; two great, grandchildren: Jake Townsend of Durango, Colorado, and Elizabeth & Jesse Gould of Franklin, Georgia; two great, great grandchildren: Logan and Jessica Gould, also of Franklin; one brother, Bill Young of Nashville, Tennessee; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 3:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Gentry officiating. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.

Mr. Dallas Eugene Young, age 91, of Carrollton, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014. He was born Dec. 21, 1922, in Carroll County, Ga., the son of the late W. Edgar Young and the late Alva Dukes Young.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served in the European Theatre during World War II. A mainstay in the community, he worked at Southwire in Carrollton for more than 20 years and remained connected to those at the company long after he retired.

He was a member and Deacon Emeritus of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where he also attended the Wisdom Sunday School Class. An avid outdoorsman, he loved gardening, fishing, and simply being outside. Lovingly known as ?Papa,? his greatest joy came from spending time with his family.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Margaret Jones Young, of Carrollton; his son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Brenda Young, of Carrollton; his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Joan Young, of Bremen; and son-in-law and daughter, Joe and Ginger Stone, of Carrollton. He also leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren including: Kelly Williamson and her daughter Katie Grace, of Carrollton; Mark and Robin Lyles and their children Finn and Georgia, of Sullivan?s Island, S.C.; Bo and Elizabeth Stone of Auburn, Ala.; Lindsey Young, of Sullivan?s Island, S.C.; Jeff and Amy Vaughan of Nashville, Tenn.; and Taylor Stone, of Atlanta. He is also survived by his sister Clovis Marrow, of Austell; his brother and sister-in-law, William and Mary Todd Young of Franklin, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, his sister, Sarah Young Burnham, and his brother, Buford Young, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 16, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Gentry and Bo Stone officiating. Those serving as pallbearers are Bo Stone, Taylor Stone, Jeff Vaughan, Mark Lyles, Bill Stone and Bart Stone. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.

Mr. Ronnie E. Burnham, 57, of Newnan, Ga., died Monday, Feb. 7. He is survived by his wife Donna Burnham of Newnan; father, Harold Burnham of Newnan; father-in-law, William Robinson of Newnan; daughters, Lindsay Burnham of Newnan and Mallory Burnham of Newnan; sisters-in-law, Kathy and George Justiss of Newnan, Connie Slaton and Donnie Slaton of Houston, TX, Lisa Robinson of Burke, VA; many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chris Howard, Chris Chappell, George Justiss, Donnie Slaton, Glen Burkett and Brad Wilson.

Arrangements are being handled by McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, Ga. where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9. Funeral service will be at McKoon Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, with Rev. Joe Bufford and Rev. Harry White officiating. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan, Ga.
