    OBITUARY

    Norma Paige Whitaker Rogers passed away at her daughter's home on Thursday, August 6, 2010.

    She was a graduate of Dobyns Bennet High School and attended Kentucky Christian College. She was President of the Rogersville City School PTA for two years. She received a lifetime membership in the PTA. She was President of the Hawkins County Memorial Hospital Auxillary. She is a member of the Jefferson City Christian Church.

    Preceded in death by parents Garland and Gladys (Hutton) Whitaker, husband John H. Rogers and granddaughter Whitney Paige Smith.

    Survivors include daughter Sara Jane Rogers Smith and husband Joel Smith, and granddaughter Casey Renee Smith. Also several double first cousins, cousins and dearly loved friends.

    Special thanks to Buddie Ruth Franklin and Virginia Senter, Drs. Mejia, Susan Huntsinger and McNabney, Amedysis Home Health and Hospice, and the Jefferson City Church family.

    In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Morristown Humble Healthcare System Foundation in support of the new inpatient unit.

    The family will receive friends from 4- 6 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Jefferson City Christian Church. Funeral services will follow at 6: p.m. Sunday at the church with Pastor Bob Emmert officiating. Eastern Star graveside services will be conducted by Hasson Chapter # 179 at 11 a.m. Monday August 9, 2010 at McKinney Cemetery.
