Grethel's son Ernest told Noah Kestner that his grandmother, Cordelia Worley had said his father was Ed Patrick, a policeman from West Virginia. He was told when Grethel became pregnant she was put in the car and brought to her parents home and she never saw Mr. Patrick again. Ernest grew up with the Henderson name.
