  Notes	son of Thomas Davenport, Jr., born 1761, Buckingham County, VA. and his cousin, Parmelia Davenport, born June 5, 1778, died Dec 11, 1848. Henry once said according to Dr. Leslie Davenport, "that if his father and mother had not been cousins, he himself, would have been a great man." Henry was a doctor. Marriage Record indicates Henry was 60 years old when he married however other dates indicate he was 40. Henry was executor of Moses Whitaker's will.. Adaline inherited from her father, land on the south side of Clinch Mountain purchased by Moses from W. Y. C. White and $400.   Henry was executor of Ann Snodgrass Jackson's will (she a sister of Eliza) and guardian of her two youngest children. Buried Henry Davenport Cemetery. [1, 2]
