A straight line running from the head of Kenney's (Canney's) Cove to Hog Sty Cove at the mouth of the Great Bay was the original boundary line between Dover (Newington) and Portsmouth, signed the petition "of the Inhabitants of Bloody Point within the limits of Dover" for a separate Parish of Newington.
