- of Shapleigh, farmer, age 60 petitioned for a supplementary military pension for service in the Revolutionary War as a private in the company commanded by Captain Silas Burbank, in the regiment commanded by Colonel Samuel Brewer, in the line of the State of Massachusetts.
In his family were Kezia Warren, wife, age 60, Eunice Russel, daughter, 26, her husband killed in the late War, and her two children Rosamond, 7, and Benjamin, 5. He declared among other things to own about 60 acres of land in Shapleigh, a small hut thereon, and no barn or other building, four small steers and a cow.
