Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home, with Claude Hendricks of Wichita Falls, Texas officiating assisted by Stephen Winner of Olney Assembly of God. Burial will follow in Lyncreek Cemetery near Jermyn, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney. Iva was born May 19, 1912 in Merritt, Texas, to the late Lemuel Clay and Nancy Anna (Owen) Price. She and Roy W. Burt were married on May 19, 1928 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Iva was a homemaker and a member of Olney Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on August 9 1992, a brother Carl Price, a daughter Lora Mae Wright, a son Troy Leon Burt and four grandchildren: Iva Herebia, Roy Edgar Osborn, Annie Rachel Morgan, and Rodney Allen Burt. Iva is survived by sons: James Burt of Saginaw, Texas, L.C. Burt and wife Ann of Frisco, Texas; daughters: Dorcas Roach of Electra, Texas, Cora Anderson and husband Edward of Olney, Texas, and Minnie Turner of Frisco, Texas; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, fourteen great-great grandchildren, and five great-great-great grandchildren.
