  Notes	OBITUARY From Find A Grave Walter Rice died Saturday in an Oakland hospital at the age of 73. A native of Cameron, Mo., he lived in Richmond 42 years. Mr. Rice was a machinist for Pacific Coast Engineers until retiring. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, LuVerne Rice of Richmond; one daughter, Pamela Hentz of Richmond; and one granddaughter. Memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset View Mortuary Chapel in El Cerrito with the Rev. O. Janke officiating. Burial will be at Sunset View Cemetery, El Cerrito. Contributions may be sent to the Hospice Unit of Kaiser Medical Center in Oakland, or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 984, El Cerrito, Ca 94530-0984.
