  Notes	OBITUARY The Examiner, Independence, MO; 7 December 1991 Joseph Lyle Wright, 77, Independence, died Friday, Dec. 6, 1991, at the Independence Regional Health Center. Mr. Wright was born in Kansas City and moved to California at an early age where he managed several grocery stores. He moved back to Kansas City in 1950. He became an insurance salesman and retired in 1986 from Pioneer Life Insurance Co. He was pastor of the Bennington Heights RLDS Church from 1958 to 1959, and pastor of the RLDS mission in Branson, Mo. He was an RLDS district church school director in 1963, pastor of the Hamilton, Mo. church from 1976 to 1977, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Restoration Branch of Independence. His survivors include his wife, Ada Wright, of the home; two sons, Lyle D. Wright, Independence, and Ramon L. Wright, Bonner Springs, Kan.; two daughters, Vanice G. Maitland, Independence, and DuVonne A. Sparks, Blue Springs; a sister, Emma R. Cheney, Independence; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Speaks Midtown Chapel; burial in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
