He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Surviving: wife, Bessie Midge Whitt; brothers, Tom of Frankford, Roy of Akron, Ohio; sisters, Olda Songer and Edith Hyper, both of Pearisburg, Va.; several nieces and nephews. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, near Frankford. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg.
