OBITUARY
Wanda Asbury, 81, of Sophia went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 27, 2012. Born March 12, 1931, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Bragg Asbury.
Wanda enjoyed bowling; loved cooking and spending time with her family. She was a graduate of Sophia High School.
In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her brothers, Raymond B. Asbury, George (Chester) Asbury, Sylvian K. Asbury; sisters, Eleanor Ann Rowe and Helen V. Asbury.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Donald J. Cella and wife Rene of Sophia, Michael G. Cella of Beckley; grandson Gary Cella of Sophia; granddaughter, Wendy Atterson of Beckley; great-granddaughter, Rylea Atterson of Beckley and sister, Alice Johns of Casselberry, FL.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, July 30th, 2012 at Williams Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Sophia with Pastor Ernie Jarrell officiating.
Burial will follow at McKinney Family Cemetery, Tams Mt.
Friends may gather with the family Monday from 12 ? 2 PM at the funeral home.
