OBITUARY

Royce B. "Stacky" Stackpole, 80, of Chelyan died March 4, 2006, at Heartland of Charleston after a short illness.
Stacky retired from Consolidated Natural Gas Company after 35 years' service. He was a member of Chelyan United Methodist Church and was a slow-pitch softball coach in Chelyan.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Genevieve Slack Stackpole, and parents, Carl and Anna Stackpole.
Surviving: daughter and her husband, Trina and Charles Kapp of Chesapeake; and granddaughter, Erica Kapp of Chesapeake.
Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank with the Rev. Jeffrey Kanode. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pryor Funeral Home, East Bank, is in charge of arrangements.
