  Notes	Note by Peter David Whitaker By 1861 she was living as "Head" with her children at Giggal Hill, Ossett. This is on the south side of The Green, where Joseph was brought up. She remained there in 1871 and in 1881 when the road was renamed as Manor Road. By 1881 she had a grandson called Joseph who was the illegitimate child of Emma probably named after his grandfather. No obvious trace of her has been found in the 1891 census so she may have died by that time.
