He was predeceased by his father, William A. Gordon; his mother, Madelaine Laughlin Alexander; his brother, Laughlin Alexander Gordon; and his brother, Charles Alexander Gordon. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucretia Selover Gordon, of Exeter, N.H.; their two children, Elizabeth G. Fichera, of Portsmouth, N.H., and William A. Gordon III, of Clarksville, Tenn.; his grandchildren, Kristin M. Fichera, of Boston, Mass., and Katie M. Goodrich, of Newburyport, Mass.; his great-grandchild, Finley Marie Goodrich; and his surviving brothers, Gordon Gordon, of Pittsburgh, Maitland Alexander Gordon, of Philadelphia, and Jonathan Harrington Gordon, of Sewickley. He is also survived by his cousins, Louis Clark, of Wilmington, Vt., Charles Alexander Sr., of Ellsworth, Maine, Laine Alexander, of Belfast, Maine, Sandy Alexander, of Islesboro, Maine, and Isabel Jackson, of Belfast, Maine. A family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of condolences, the family encourages a memorial donation to one of the two organizations that have greatly contributed to Sandy's health, well being and happiness: Rockingham VNA and Hospice,137 Epping Road, Exeter, NH 03833; and New Hampshire SPCA
