    After John Walker's death she married Obediah Marriott, an attorney with a small fortune. She lived to be a very old woman, and her great-grandson recalls her living with his father Humphrey Walker a few years after he was born and then living with her grandson, Capt. William Fleet living below King and Queen Court House, on the river.

    Came to Jamestown, VA before 1623, when he was captured by Native Americans at the falls of the Potomac River. He was kept prisoner for 4 years. See "Tidewater Virginia" by Paul Wilstach. He was a member of the Maryland Assembly in 1638, and in 1652 he was a member of the House of Burgesses from Lancaster Co. He had a grant in MD and VA of 13,197 acres.
