    In 1799 Nathan sold his farm, 50 acres, in Newington on the road from Piscataqua Bridge to Greenland to Joseph Langdon[and bought 100 acres in the extreme northwest corner of Parsonfield, Me, bounded north by the Ossipee river and west by New Hampshire. In 1809 he conveyed this farm to his son Joseph C. Huntress except 57 acres theretofore conveyed to his son John F. Huntress.

    Notes:

    He had under his grandfather's will the northwesterly half of the farm occupied by his father, the part which lay in Newington, bounded southeast by Stony Brook. He acquired from his younger brother George the southeasterly half lying in Portsmouth, He was a petitioner for grant of a tract of land for a township on the Merrimack River.

    May 1745, fought in King George's War [CIT:]War of Austrian Succession, or King George's War at Louisbourg, Nova Scotia

    His will probated 1 Oct. 1782 mentions his wife Mary, sons Christopher, Darling, George, Nathan, Noah, daughters Mary "Rawlings" and Elizabeth Stevens and granddaughter Martha Lord. Nathan and Noah Huntress were executors.

    Christopher married Mary CHICK 26 Oct 1724, Kittery, York Co, Maine. Mary (daughter of Richard CHICK and Martha LORD) was born Abt 1703, Kittery, York Co, Maine; was christened 19 Jun 1727, Church of Newington, Newington, NH by Rev. Joseph Adams. [Group Sheet]
