KINGSPORT - Our loving Mother, Mabel Ruth Donihe, 80, of Kingsport, left this world to be wrapped in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday morning ( June 12, 2005 ) at her home.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who was cherished and adored by all who knew her. She attended West View Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Donihe.

Surviving are her son, Kyle Donihe and his family, Church Hill; grandson, John Donihe and wife, Lori, Kingsport; and great-granddaughter, Holly Donihe, Kingsport; grandson, Josh Donihe and wife, Sabra, Kingsport; son, Larry Donihe, Kingsport; granddaughter, Logan Donihe; and grandson, Matthew Donihe; son, Gary Donihe and wife, Sandra, Kingsport; grandson, Kevin Donihe, Kingsport; granddaughter, Shaina Donihe, Kingsport; sister, Gaynell Ketron, Fall Branch; brother, Bill Tipton and wife, Ann, Kingsport; special nephew, Mike Donihe; special great-niece, Michelle Donihe; and several other nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, downtown.

Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Lonnie "Buddy" Wooten Jr. and Pastor Mike Stout officiating. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park .

Pallbearers will be Larry Donihe, Mike Donihe, John Donihe, Josh Donihe, Matthew Donihe, and Kevin Donihe.

Memorial contributions may be made to the West View Baptist Church , 1037 Fairview Avenue , Kingsport , TN 37660 .
