    Edith Rowe Anderson, age 84, died at home on April 14, 2013 of complications from advanced Alzheimer's.

    Survivors include her daughter Dreama Anderson and her beloved sister Beatrice Rowe Thruston Moyer, both of Staunton.

    Graveside Service will be held on April 17 at 1 pm at Mount Carmel Presbyterian Church in Steeles Tavern Virginia.

    Arrangements will be handled by Henry Funeral Home.

    OBITUARY

    Rockbridge County News; 18 Mar 1937

    Joseph Nathan Nicely died at his home on Upper Buffalo on Sunday the 14th in his 82nd year. He leaves to mourn his loss 5 brothers, John, James, Charles, William and Douglas Nicely; 3 sisters Mrs. Mary Morris, Mrs. Sallie Clark and Mrs. Charles Hickman. He leaves also 6 sons, Charles, Lee, Sidney, Guy, Nathan and Alva Nicely and one daughter Mrs. Sadie Rowe of Greenville, Va. There are also 35 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. His funeral was held in the Oxford church on Monday at 3 p.m. ....He was laid to rest beside his wife who died 16 years ago. A large crowd gathered to pay their respects to a good neighbor and a true friend.
