Goodwin Shepherd Jordan died Jan. 3, 1999, at age 74.
He was the husband of Anne Dickson Jordan and the son of James Matthias Jordan Jr. and Elizabeth Browne Jordan.
Survivors include a brother, James M. Jordan III and his wife, Nannette; a sister, Mary Minor McNamara and her husband, Thomas; three children, Charles Goodwin Jordan and his wife, Elaine Richardson Jordan, Anne Talbott Jordan, Margaret Jordan Harvey and her husband, William Bayne Harvey; five grandchildren, Charles Goodwin Jordan Jr., Carter Browne Jordan, Granville Segar Jordan, Sarah Talbott Harvey and Margaret Patricia Harvey;
