YANKER--Gary D., 60, of New York and Tucson died May 15 from cancer. He grew up in New Jersey, graduated from Georgetown in 1969 and earned a Law Degree and MBA from Columbia. He practiced law at Milbank Tweed and subsequently wrote numerous books promoting walking. He later practiced law. He was predeceased by his first wife, Virginia Rice and is survived by his second wife Diane Van Arsdel, his sons Andrew and Wyatt, his mother Lisl, his sister Kristin and brother Peter. A service will be held at St. Josephs Church, 404 E. 87th St. at 10am on June 20th.
