Hebron IN local paper; Friday, 9 May 1930

Word was received in Hebron by relatives on Wednesday of the death of Mrs. Lettie Morrow, widow of Ernest Morrow at Indianapolis. Mrs. Morrow had been an invalid for seven years. She is survived by a son and daughter, two grandchildren at Indianapolis and a brother Ed Rice of Hebron. Funeral on Friday at Indianapolis.

Louis (Lewis) M. Rice (died 27 September 1914) Mortuary Record Louis Rice, age 65 years, died Sunday night at his home in Hebron, of cancer.

He is survived by a wife, one son, Edward of Hebron, and one daughter, Mrs. Lettie Morrow of Indianapolis. He was a cousin to Doc Rice (Harrison P. Rice).

The funeral will occur Tuesday.

After having been a great sufferer for several months with a cancer on the face. Lewis Rice died at his home here last Sunday afternoon, age 64 years, 5 months, and 7 days. He leaves a wife and two children - Ed and Mrs.
Earnest Morrow. The funeral was held at 2 pm Tuesday, conducted by Rev. S.W. Brown of the Christian Church.

Drucilla Rice - Hebron

Death Comes To Woman 81

Mrs. Drucilla Rice, 81, widow of Lewis Rice, passed away at her home in Hebron Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, following a three year illness due to paralysis.

Mrs. Rice was born one mile west of Hebron in December of 1847, and is the last of a family of ten. Surviving are one son, Edward Rice, at Hebron and a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Morrow of Indianapolis.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home. Rev. Pengilly of Hebron Methodist church officiating with burial at Hebron cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Drucilla Rice was held at her home in Hebron on Saturday, pm, conducted by Rev. Richard Pengilly of the Methodist church. The pallbearers were: Charles Rickle, John Fickle, Andress Crawford, Roy Rathburn, William Antrim, and Harry Meeks. Her son-in-law, Ernest Morrow of Indianapolis, attended the funeral. Mrs. Morrow was unable to attend owing to illness. Mrs. Elsie Hathaway of Winamac, also attended the funeral.
