Gresham - Jimmie Sue passed away in the early hours of May 30, at the age of 71. She was born to Floyd and Dorothy Gray, June 25, 1938 in Yukon, OK. She met and married James Claytor, Sr, June 9, 1961 in Canoga Park, CA. They moved to Oregon April 2001 after living in California and Texas. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jimmie Sue is survived by her spouse of 48 years James Claytor, sr; son James "Butch" (Maria) Farrell Claytor, Jr, son Erick (Pamela) Steven Claytor, grandchildren Dallas, Aspen, Edna, Edgar, and Susannah; sisters Andy Belisle, Joan McAlpine, Debbie Sherfield and brother Michael Gray. She is preceded in death by her siblings Harold Gray and Joy Gray and her daughter Lucinda Claytor.

Gresham resident Jimmie Sue Claytor, 71, died Sunday, May 30.

No services will be held.

Jimmie was born June 25, 1938, in Yukon, Okla., to Floyd and Dorothy Gray.

On June 9, 1961, she married James Farrell Claytor Sr. in Canoga Park, Calif.

Jimmie lived in California and Texas before moving to Oregon in April 2001. She enjoyed sewing, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lucinda Claytor; sister, Joy Gray; and brother, Harold Gray.

Survivors include her husband; sons, James 'Butch' Claytor Jr. of Simi Valley, Calif., and Erick Claytor of Gresham; sisters, Andy Belisle of Yucca Valley, Calif., Joan McAlpine of Coos Bay and Debbie Sherfield of Portland; brother, Michael Gray of Coos Bay; and five grandchildren.

Emily's Cremation and Burial Service of Milwaukie is handling arrangements.
