Sherman Junior Christian, 64, of Elkton, MD, died Friday, April 13, 2007 in Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.
Mr. Christian was a Custodian for Harford County Board of Education. He was a member of the Charlestown Baptist Church, Charlestown, MD.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Deborah J. Christian, Elkton, MD; daughter, April Moore and husband, Shirky, North East, MD; son, Sherman (Davey) Christian, Elkton, MD; mother, Nomel B. Christian, Statesville, NC; sisters, Ruby N. Smith and husband, Ernest, Elkton, MD, Della Mae Peak and husband, Terry, Elkins, NC, Judy Christian, Stockton, CA, Kathrine Jochen, Elkins, NC, and Susie Ann Harwell, Statesville, NC; brothers, Al Christian, Tazwell, VA, Jim Christian, Hurley, VA, Harold Christian, Statesville, NC, and Jeff Christian and wife, Cathy, Statesville, NC; granddaughter, Allyson V. Moore, North East, MD; and beloved dog, Pooh.
Mr. Christian was predeceased by his father, Charles R. Christian; and brother, Ernest L. Christian.
Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon, Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Charlestown Baptist Church, Charlestown, MD, where the family will receive friends after 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service.
