Louise Lipscomb Melton, 95, of Bremo Bluff, died Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late James and Lydia Lipscomb, and widow of William Thomas 'Billy' Melton Sr. Member: Fork Union Baptist Church.

Survivors: Daughter, Barbara Leigh Melton, of Bremo Bluff; a son, Bill Melton, of Bremo Bluff; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Friday, May 3, 2002, at Fork Union Memorial Cemetery.
