Polk County Observer of Oct 2, 1896 gives the following:  Rev. T. L. Weaver, pastor of the United Evangelical Church at Dayton, Oregon died on the 26th from inflammation of the bowels. The burial took place in the Whitteaker Cem. three miles north of Monmouth Sunday afternoon.  Deceased was a son-in-law of B. F. Whitteacker, and leaves a wife and one son.
