MILITARY SERVICE

Addison B. Christian, 2nd Lt., Co. B, 34th Battallion, VA Cavalry, was killed in skirmish at Bunker Hill, Berkeley County, (W)VA June 14, 1863. The 34th was on the way to Gettysburg. They encountered Union forces in a
barricaded house in Bunker Hill. The 34th captured 75-100 Union soldiers at the cost of the life of Addison Christian.
