Ora Cook, 99, formerly of 5719 Ohio 123 in Franklin, died Friday, June 10. 1999, at Franklin Ridge Nursing Home, where she resided for the past 10 years.

She was born in Morgan County, Ky., on July 15, 1899, the daughter of Frank and Dora Christian Sexton.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, George Cook Sr., in 1955; two sons, George Cook Jr. in 1992 and Avery; a sister, Brunette Moss; and a grandson, Michael Cook in 1988.

Surviving are a grandson, Tony Cook of Middletown, two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements: Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 15, at 10am at Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin, with the Rev. Mike Gray officiating. Eaton-Anderson Funeral Home, 121 E. 2nd St., Franklin, is in charge of the arrangements.

OBITUARY

Germantown- Mrs. Dora Christian, 68, formerly of Franklin, died at 7pm Friday at a Dayton Hospital. She had been ill for several months.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Tuesday at the Swartzel Funeral Home in Germantown.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George Cook of Franklin, Mrs. Robert Lovely of Eaton and Mrs. Bert Miller of Richmond, Ind.; two sons, Cody and David Sexton, Detroit, Mich.; a sister, three brothers and several grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4pm Monday. Burial will be in Germantown Cemetery.
