DRINKARD
Opal Thompson Drinkard, 76, a native of Stockton and a resident of Bay Minette, died Saturday, June 13, 2009 at her residence. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex "Tiny" Drinkard and a son, Danny Drinkard.
Survivors include a daughter, Allyson Drinkard (Tom) Snyder of Bay Minette; three grandchildren, Patrick Bryan Snyder, Nicholas Morgan Snyder and Ashlee Drinkard; two sisters, Joyce Nall of Stockton, Laura Harville of Pensacola, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 16 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Preston Ferrell, Jackie Glasgow, Murray Bryars, Edgar Eleogo, Eric Thompson, Keaton Coleman, Chad Eubanks and Steve Drinkard.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 418, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
Arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette.
