    Mr. Thomas Carl Rubino, Sr., 75 passed from this life on Friday, July 1st, 2011 at his home in Hurley. He was born December 28, 1935 and was a life long resident of Hurley.
    Mr. Rubino worked for Sears Roebuck Company, Borden's Milk, Coastal Chemical Company / Mississippi Phosphates, Singing River Hospital, was owner/operator of Rubino Trucking, and was the owner of Pizza Patio and Tommy and Shirley's Restaurant in Hurley.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Olga Davis Rubino; his wife, Harlene Moak Rubino; son, Carl Rubino, Jr.; two sisters, Anna Coleman and Sandra Rubino; brother Joseph Melroy Rubino.

    He is survived by his children, Brian and Kay Rubino of Hattiesburg; Jeannette Rubino and fiance' Keith Carroll of Hurley; Steve and Ivonne Pittman of Los Angeles, CA; Debbie and Richard Puckett of Hurley; Mary and Charles Seiring of Hurley; two sisters, Anita and Vernon Slider; Judy and Buddy Cumbest all of Hurley; grandchildren, Krystl and Cody Snyder, Bradley Rubino, Haylee Rubino, Ciera Seiring, Amber Seiring, Nathanael Seiring; great grandchildren, Cade Snyder, Kyleigh Rubino, Gavin Rubino; mother of his children, Shirley Rubino of Hurley; very close dear friend, Jimmy Austin of Hurley; his best friend and beloved dog Harley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

    Visitation will be Sunday, July 3, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Magnolia Springs Assembly of God Church in Hurley. Funeral services will be held of Monday, July 4, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. from Magnolia Springs Assembly of God Church with Pastor Wade Ivey, Rev. Breaux Tageant and Rev. Keith Kirkwood officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Springs Cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Hurley Baptist Church Building Fund 6801 Hurley-Wade Road Hurley, Mississippi 39555.

    RUBINO

    Olga Davis Rubino, 92, of Hurley, Miss., died Saturday Nov.24, 2006, in Mobile, Ala. Mrs. Rubino was born July 12, 1914, in Mt. Vernon, Ala. She was a homemaker and a member of Magnolia Springs Assembly of God Church in Hurley for the past 63 years.

    Mrs. Rubino was preceded in death by her parents Woodie and Anna Davis; her husband Joseph Rubino; infant son Joseph Melroy; two daughters, Sandra and Anna Coleman, two sisters; Clydia Glaskox and Leola Jones and one grandson Carl.

    Survivors include a sister Rosenell (Miss Blue) Jones, one son and daughter in law, Thomas (Harlene) Rubino; two daughters and sons-in-law, Anita (Vernon) Slider and Judith (Buddy) Cumbest, the Rev. Forrest (Phyllis) Coleman son-in-law and wife and a daughter in law, Shirley Rubino.

    She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren,16 great great grandchildren, two very special beloved friends, Sallie White and Sadie Rogers, and a host of nephews and nieces who loved her very much.

    Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at the Magnolia Springs Assembly of God Church in Hurley, Miss.

    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, from the church with Rev. Jerry Goff officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Springs Cemetery with Mrs.
    Rubino grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
