She is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Jim Charles (1909-1992), infant daughter Helen Charles (1938), sons, Walter Charles (1943-2002); and William Charles, Sr. (1947-2003). Lula is survived by her children, Shirley Margaret Blackner and her husband Frank, Johnny Lee Charles and his wife Phyllis, and Ora Gaynelle Boone and her husband Steve; niece, Hazel Payne; 13 grandchildren...
