Deceased Name: Ruby E. McDonald

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 5, 2005, in Vernonia Memorial Cemetery for Ruby E. McDonald, who died June 1 at age 84.

Ruby E. Smith was born May 3, 1921, in Glenwood. She was a homemaker who lived in the Vernonia area as well as Forest Grove and Hillsboro. In 1940, she married Ronald; he died in 1986.

Survivors include her son, Lanny R.; brothers, Sam Smith, Raymond Smith and Ronald Smith; sister, Retha John; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
