    Noah King Smith, 81, of Yukon died Friday morning in a local hospital. He made his home with his son, Rev. Burlin Smith of Yukon. He was the son of the late David and Julia Bedwell Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Baldwin Smith. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Ora Collins of Warriormine, Mrs. Mollie Trout of Astabula, Ohio, Mrs. Edda Proffitt of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Julia Honaker of Caretta, Mrs. Bernice Richardson of Caretta, Mrs. Ruth Smith of Baltimore, Maryland, Mrs. Mary Breeding of Pasedena, Texas; three sons, Rev. Burlin Smith of Yukon, Albert Smith of Astabula, Ohio, and Thomas Smith of Tazewell, Virginia, 73 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The body will be placed in the Church of God in Christ at Yukon Saturday at 4 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jim Short and Rev. Roy Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery at Jolo, West Virginia.

    Noah married Nancy Elizabeth (Lizzie) Baldwin. Nancy (daughter of John W. Baldwin and Mary Lee CHRISTIAN) was born Jan 1885, Tazewell Co. VA. [Group Sheet]
