OBITUARY

TATE, FRANCES, S., 83, of Gruetli-Laager, TN, died Monday, July 28, 2008. She was born December 13, 1924 to Charlie P. and Viola Perry Sitz who preceded her in death along with her husband, William "Bill" Tate; brothers, Perry S. Sitz, Charles H. Sitz; sisters, Barbara A. Meeks, Evelyn Townsend and Juanita Bracken. She is survived by her son, Jack Tate, Monteagle; sisters, June Simon, Betty Cyr, Monteagle; Dorthy Wiggins, Shelbyville; brother, Leon Sitz, Greenville; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in the Fall Creek Cemetery. Eastern Star services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Layne Funeral Home in Palmer.
