Martha Ann Snodgrass was only about a year old when her father died. She was only 16 years old when she married William Wilburn. How she got from Virginia to Texas is not known for sure, however, her mother , Abigail married for the second time to Jess Lee Earls and they ended up in Gainsville, TX.
