Noah worked as a coal miner until he became ill and they returned to Poor Valley to farm. They lived in the original Samuel Arnett Henderson home in Poor Valley, VA until 1992 when Mildred became ill and they moved by the Lee Highway in Emory, VA to be near their son.

Buried at Holston Cem, Emory, VA.

Noah married Mildred June (Mitzi) HENDERSON. Mildred (daughter of Samuel Whitley Fullen HENDERSON and Constance Foy CALLAHAN) was born 1 Jun 1917, McDowell Co. WV; died 13 May 2000, Emory, VA. [Group Sheet]
